I travelled to Hongkong during June and July 2009. Stayed there with my family (my parents and brother) for 6 nights. As it was a long duration stay in Hongkong, I was looking for a nice hotel. Also this was the first time I was taking out my parents for vacation so I was looking for a really good hotel to stay and yes at a low cost. I did a lot of research on the internet and asked a few friends and colleagues. Eventually I came across South Pacific, one of my friend highly recommended this hotel. The hotel is worth the price I paid for it. Everything was just superb, Checkin process was quick, the staff were helpful, concierge was helpful. We also had buffet breakfast in our package. The food was really good, You have choice for vegetarians and non-vegitarians alike.
Rooms were nice and clean. The services in the hotel were prompt. The hotel is located just 5 minutes from the Causeway Bay MTR. Lots of restaurants and shops around, if you want to buy a bottle of water or anything to eat, just get out of the hotel and there are lots of options available.
If I visit Hongkong again, I will stay in South Pacific hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Hongkong.
