One excellent place to start getting to know Bangkok is the Sukhumvit Road area. This commercial, entertainment and shopping district is a quick drive on the expressway from the airport. Well placed to serve the Sukhumvit Road area are the two City Lodges, located on Soi 9 and Soi 19. Soi 9 is next to the entrance to the Nana Skytrain Station and Soi 19 is next to the Asoke Skytrain Station and the Sukhumvit Underground Station.

Friendly staff and reception. Very good clean room. The breakfast was not satisfactory. A good location for shopping and entertainment .

Excellent hotel as described. Its a boutique hotel with no amenites (good no need to pay for what you do not use) with a great restaurant, great staff and a superb location. The rooms are a good size with TV and DVD player and wifi (though 5th floor signal was weak) and the wall plug did not work. boutique rating ***** overall rating **** But dont make this too popular else I will have nowhere to return.

The hotel was small but the room was excellent and the bed very big and comfortable.
