The Hotel Staffs are very friendly and accommodating and they provided excellent customer service. The Hotel Room I had was very clean, comfortable bed and has a nice city view. I will definitely stay again in Hotel Aryaduta Semanggi on my next visit to Jakarta and will recommend this to my friends and colleagues.

The Good : The hotel is quite old but generally very nice. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The buffet breakfast is excellent and the Italian restaurant is also excellent too (same place... there is only 1 restaurant). We booked a 1 bedroom suite but were placed in a 2 bedroom suite which had 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen / laundry room. There is a 24 hour convenience store in the hotel grounds which is not unreasonably priced. There is also a large shopping mall (Semanggi Plaza) within 5 minutes walk. The his / her spa in the hotel was good. The Not so Good: The lifts are very slow. Lots of waiting during busy periods. The hotel is a little run down in places. Returning from the City to the hotel by car can be troublesome depending on the taxi drivers knowledge of the backstreets. They are building a flyover nearby and the usual location for a U turn that takes you to the hotel is often closed and the detour takes you into more heavy traffic. Going anywhere from the hotel is not a problem due to the road layout. The pool was still closed for renovation during our stay and although the hotel will ferry you to another Aryaduta it is inconvenient. There is a lack of free internet. There is only free Wifi on the 2nd floor (at the restaurant) although you can still pick up the signal in the lobby. When in a taxi remember to make sure it takes you to the right Aryaduta !! We would stay there again if the package rate was reasonable but would not pay top dollar.
