Oct 2-5, 2009. It was at the height of super typhoon Peping. Although we are very scared of the weather, the SeaWind staff assured us a safe trip. They were very helpful at the airport, the van driver that drove us from Kalibo to Caticlan was very alert that inspite of the long drive, he was able to see the thin electric wire dangling in the streets. As soon as we got to Caticlan, another SeaWind staff was already there waiting, they immediately got our bags & loaded them on our own ferry boat, there were a lot of life jackets there which made us feel safe. Another staff was waiting at the ferry terminal at Boracay Island, we took another 10-minute van ride to the resort itself & was greeted by a welcome drink & friendly reception staff.
We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel.. the people are very friendly and accommodating, I can't seem to complain about anything. They took care of all our needs with a smile. I will always go back to Boracay, and the next time I do, I know where I will always stay - SEAWIND!
It was my nth time in Boracay, but I was with first time tourists there. They were very much delighted of the island as well as the hotel. Thank you to all SeaWind staff for being a part of our unforgettable vacation.
