The hotel was neat, clean and comfortable and the location close to many of Taipei's attractions. The staff were most helpful in making recommendations for local shops, restaurants and how best to get to the airport. They also were quite fluent in English (something of a rarity in many parts of East Asia). I would unhesitatingly recommend the Evergreen Laurel.
