Used for an overnight stay between flights. Basic but OK, clean, room adequate size. Bathroom could have been better cleaned but OK. Good for the purpose. Distance from e.g. Orchard Road meant taxi needed.

Copthorne Orchid was right up to its normal high standard. Clean and comfortable rooms at a good price. Well maintained and provided in room. Front office staff friendly and helpful, efficient and polite. Only one negative comment is that the food and beverage is expensive, but that applies Singapore wide.

The Staff that we had contact with during our stay went out of their way to be friendly and helpful, which made up for the only problem that we experienced, which was with the internet. We were unable to connect in either our room (because of range we were told), or even in the foyer despite several attempts with different passwords and assistance from reception staff. As a result our fee was refunded and we were allowed access free of charge in the business centre for that day until I made alternative arrangements
