I have been to the Palm Resort a number of times. I would highly recommend it for the Mandara Spa and the fact that the hotel is less costly than the hotels in Singapore. It is also great that it is a resort with a golf course, a reasonably sized pool and pool bar. Rooms are large sized (all have balconies) and beds are really comfortable! I usually get here to relax and unwind every few months. It may not be convenient to get to if you do not drive. Breakfast is not fantastic but it does have an average spread. I tend to drive out and have the food at the neighbouring stalls. There is a moderate sized shopping centre about 15 minutes away. P.S. The bar at the hotel makes good Frozen Margaritas!
