This was a wonderfully welcoming hotel - nestled in the side of the mountains in Khasab. As soon as we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and encouraged to treat the hotel like home - with a pool and a beach nearby, playground for the kids - this place was a perfect family accommodation - more than that, children were welcomed and little extras like a small library for children and football and table tennis were available. The staff were fantastic - willing to assist at all times and gave a super impression of Omani hospitality and service and the tour bookings were easy and not over priced. Loved it - am definitely going back...

The hotel was ideal for a mid week break from Dubai for our family of four. We took the obligitary tour of the nearby fjords and stopped near Telegraph Island. As a keen photographer I found some superb locations for landscape photography in and around the fjords. The hotel bar was open for Happy Hour but with two young teenage girls with us we could not sit in the empty bar at 6pm to take advantage of Happy Hour prices, so had to sit outside and were told that normal prices applied outside. Ah well, not the end of the world. Breakfasts were good and the dinner buffet, though nothing special, were fair enough value for money at about Dh 90 each with taxes (cheaper than Dubai for sure) Booking through Asiatravel meant we saved about 75% off the hotel's rack rate and were assured of sea view rooms. The hotel arranged for adjoining King and Twin bed rooms, exactly as we requested, so that was well organised. Rooms were clean and bright and the view is of course very restful - nothing but the open sea. Good value if booked through this site and a very welcome break from the hustle and hassle of Dubai.
