I booked the Istana because of a recommendation by my husband as he has had the pleasure of staying there on a number of occasions and am most pleased to state that I fully agree with his praise of this particular property. I found the the staff absolutely wonderful, professional, friendly and courteous and the rooms were spotlessly clean and large. I had breakfast every morning during my stay which was superb. The one and only regret is that I did not stay longer. Well done hotel Istana. I look forward to returning in the near future. No hesitation in recommending this property.

Good hotel with clean rooms. Pretty good value for money. Only problem was that there was work going on in the hotel and one could hear banging and hammering going on. Should be okay if the work has been completed.

My family stayed in the club suite for 6 nights. We had a pleasant experinece. The check in was smooth and most staff are friendly whom will greet you. The queue for breakfast is fast and the spread quite comprehensive with a large varienty to choose from i.e western and local delights. The loacation is very close to Bukit Bintang which is short walking distance away. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The high tea for the club suite is a bonus with plenty of privacy. We enjoyed our stay there and will return to this Hotel again in the near future.
